I have a memory, one summer, of a vulture sitting on my head . I was a bit freaked out.
Neither of us enjoyed the experience, I know for sure that I was petrified. This is an ‘hommage’ to that bird.
While I love birds and can admire their beauty at a distance, I’m not very happy with them up close – it’s a fluttery feathery thing.
I think having seen our cats attack and kill birds, all the frantic flapping etc. when I was a child, has made it difficult to be up close to birds.
No hard feelings bird friend… You were a true vulture.
